I had a small dark red stretchy clot like lump pass today along with watery blood/brown discharge. I am trying to conceive but was worried I this is a sign of a problem? I m supposed to be day 19 of 28 in cycle, but had only light bleed for two days last cycle. Also negative test two days ago
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. From the description of your symptoms, it appears that you are experiencing some hormone imbalance. This is the possible cause of the scanty previous period and also the current discharge, which is likely to be an endometrial cast. Histopathological exam is needed for confirmation. Also, home pregnancy tests read well 3-7 days after a missed period and not before a period, for which, the blood test is ideal. Please get a proper clinical evaluation and a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route to plan further management. Hope this helps.
