What Could Multiple, Tender To Touch Lumps Under Chest Of A Big Smoker Suggest?

Hi, I just got off of the phone with my father. He told me that a couple of weeks ago he found multiple lumps under his skin... On his chest. He said his chest is tender to touch. He is 64 years old and a big smoker. I d say he weighs 120 lbs and is 5 4 tall. Any ideas?

Multiple lumps under the skin are usually lipomas which are not to be worried about.
. However as these lesions are tender you should get biopsy of the lumps esp. Because he is a smoker..
Get him shown to a surgeon..
