What Could Multiple Ulcers On Lower Lip Indicate, Minocin Offered Some Relief?

Hello! Can one get strep on a a lower lip? I have 2 RX for two circular patches of numerous tiny ulcers (at least 20 total) on either side of my lower lip. It does not respond to the anitiviral cream doc prescrobed even though I used it 3-4 days. It is slowly responding to 150mgm of Minocin I keep for my Sarcoidosis.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the multiple ulcers over the labial mucosa could be multiple aphthous ulcers or pemphigus. consult a oral physician to rule out these ulcers from other ulcers like neutrpenic ulcers, allergic stomatitis. if i am your treating doctor i would put you on topical steroids like triamcinolone acetanoid gel 4-5times daily for 7days along with topical anesthetic and analgesic. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
