I had carpel tunal sugery 2 mo ago and still having problems. I had to talk my Dr into ordering therapy after he told me my muscel in arm was receding. At first he was telling me that the therapy was expensive. I have workers comp and do not have to pay for any treatments. I work for company that contrats at the hospital this dr is at. He told me I could go back to work after sugery knowing I set in office and type all day. I took off two weeks going on what a coworker took off because I was told by her there was no way I would be able to come back right away. The day I came back to work I was calling him. I was in so much pain I went to see him the next day and was told it was normal and was given pain meds and he told me I could work. I have a knot on wrist that was there before surgery and he has not took any X-rays or do ultra sound to find out what it is. My last apt my wrist is still swollen I still have nerve pain, my hand and arm are so week I can not blow my horn in my car when someone pulled out in front of me today. Do I need to change drs?? Everyone I have talked to has said something is not right and this is not this drs normal treatment. Could something happened during sugery. He has not had me do any type of exersze or physical therapy so far. I will start next week over 2 months after surgery. Help not sure what to do.
