Vaginal infections can produce discharge that is yellow resembling pus, and if your vagina or uterus is irritated enough, a small amount of blood cells may be released producing this color discharge. If the discharge has a foul odor itches, it is most likely caused by vaginal infection. The pain can be produced by the irritation and indirectly cause cramping of your uterus. If you also have excruciating cramping, you may actually be experiencing symptoms of a vaginal or pelvic infection. Therefore, I would strongly recommend that you see gynecologist or other women s healthcare provider who can perform a pelvic examination and diagnose you properly.
