What Could Pain In Arm After Too Much Sugar Consumption Mean?
my birthday was a few days ago and i have eaten lots of sugar and cake. For like three days straight i realized i have eaten too much sugar. Now my left arm hurts. Have i really hurt myself? Can i get diabetes from those three days? I don t really eat lots of sugar and don t eat unhealthy.
Hello, a healthy person can cope with increased sugar consumption. Individuals with compromised glucose regulation potential will have increased blood sugar after heavy eating. This compromise can be serious (this is called diabetes) or mild (pre-diabetes). Normal persons will have normal values no matter what they eat. The arm pain has nothing to do with any blood sugar level. Long-standing diabetes can damage your nerves and sometimes even cause pain but that's not going to happen over a three day period. You should check with an orthopedic surgeon about that. Kind Regards!
