Hi.. I m 20 and off and on right after I had my second child (she s 5 months old now) I ve been having pain when I get the sensation to fart and/or poop.. Its also very hard to fart.. I don t know why. I get the urge to fart then it starts hurting in my tail bone or butt area then I try to fart and its hard to get out! It ll go away for months then it ll come back.. I ve had it twice since I gave birth to my second child. It also makes my stomach hurt! Any explanation to why this could be happening? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be due to a clinical condition called as coccalgia.
As of low you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist it will be better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
