What Could Painful And Itchy Lumps On Breast Suggest?

I'm 16. I had a lump in my right breast on the right side of the nipple. At first when it showed up it was painful to touch and was very stiff, about the size of a quarter or bigger. After two weeks or so it stopped hurting was numb to touch. I asked a doctor and was told it was a cyst and it would not go away and i could get it removed... well it went away, surprisingly. Now i have one on my left breast on the left side the size of a baby banana, yes this one curves around the nipple but not completely. This one is staying longer, hurt longer, and just yesterday it was numb to touch. The weird thing about this one is that it is red, extremely itchy and has today began to peel very much like a healing sunburn.I am now becoming scared, concerned, and well curious.

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst, a benign breast lesion. It could also be a fibroma or fibrocystic lesion. these lesions are best evaluated clinically. further diagnostic examinations, such as breast ultrasound and mammography, will be requested as needed. regular breast examination and follow-up with your doctor is highly recommended in these cases. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
