Why do I feel pain and itch in my penis? Hi doctor, I had sex just yesterday and it was protected. Few hours after the sex, I feel som itch inside my penis(not the cap) but I feel it more when I compress my pennis. There s a particular vein that wen I press it, I feel some sweet pain in it. What s wrong with me?
I read your query and understand your concerns about the pain and itch.
There are two possibilities which may be present in your case.
1. Urinary tract infection- This is the most likely cause and it may be just a coincidence that it presented one after your recent sexual exposure. As we know UTI do happen and it is possible that you have one such episode.
2.Fungal infection- Although most STDs take time to manifest some of the fungal infection can present within 24 hours of sexual exposure. Presence of itch is one which indicates toward fungal pathology.
I must acknowledge that the chance of second possibility is rare as sex was protected.
I hope this answers you. Thanks and regards.
