What Could Painful, Swollen Knee After Clicking Of Knee While Playing Indicate?

Hello doctor, so about 6 months ago i was playing football i didn t stretch at all so the ball came to me i shot and my knee clicked and it was really hurting i came home sat on my bed because it felt horrible the next day it went swollen all around my knee and below i couldn t walk for 3 days after a week it went a bit better so i thought it would be ok i kept playing football and now i wish i didn t i went see my doctor 2 week ago he said my knee went swollen he gave me iburophen and told me get a knee support but the pain still wont go. What should i do

This can be due to an internal injury to the knee joint. A tear of ligament or meniscus is possible. MRI scan will help in the proper diagnosis. Take rest till then and avoid exercise.
