What Could Presence Of Pus Cells On Stool Report Mean?

My baby is 11mnth now.his stool report is color-brown, mucus-trace, bllod-nil, reaction-alkaline, r/s-not done,R.B.C-nil, pus cells-0-2hpf.is it normal? Few days before he was suffering from dysentery. Than I stop to give him formula. Can I continue to give him formula?

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history about your baby who is months and his stool report shows trace mucus - pus cells 0-2, he was suffering from dysentery 2 days ago. Wants to know whether to continue formula...
The report is either apparently normal or infection is settled with the antibiotics if he has been given so.
It is also possible that there is intolerance to something.
Another possibility is about the disturbed intestinal flora with the growing age.
You may please continue with the formula and send another sample of stool asking about sucrose and lactose intolerance test.
Consult your pediatrician for clinical evaluation and further advise and management.
