What Could Pressure On Temple Area With Dizziness Suggest?
Hi, I had a question about some pressure I ve been having next to my eyes I would say on both temples. It s never both at the same time & it s not pain but I would best describe it like I feel as if liquid was on the side I feel the pressure on. The main thing that concerns me & interferes is that with this I feel the sensation of the room spinning like if everything around is moving slowly & it doesn t and hasn t gone away completely just it calms down not as bothering as other times. What could it be? I tried Tylenol extra strength but it didn t do anything.Thank you.
Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic. With this presentation, I think it the probable diagnosis is Meniere's disease. To draw the final conclusion that this is the problem, a doctor needs to examine you thoroughly. Effective management of this condition needs drugs and lifestyle changes. Drugs that can help eliminate extra water from the body (diuretics) like Hydrochlorothiazide can be of help. Concerning lifestyle changes, reduction of salt intake, avoiding smoking, alcohol and caffeine could also be of help. I would suggest you see an ENT specialist for proper assessment and management.
I hope that helps I wish you well
