What Could Rapid Heart Beat With Blood Clogs Suggest?

Hi I was diagnosed with blood clogs so I started to take cummadin I been on it for 6 months however for the last month my INR hasn't been stable where it needs to be. And as of a few days ago now my heart has been beating really fast then it goes back to normal. I feel really tired and can't seem to get enough sleep.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell that fast heart rate can be because of anxiety or stress, physiological changes or underlying heart arrhythmia.

It is recommended for you to get an ECG and Echocardiography done and then a Holter (Ambulatory ECG). Consult a physician with reports of further management and continue taking coumadin till then.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
