What Could Rapid Heart Beat With Numbness Suggest?

Good afternoon - For the past few weeks I have had episodes of faster and loud heart beats that come with a light numbness on my left arm and pinkie. I have just had one. I am now in India and not back until Sept 22. Should I wait or try to see a doctor here? Thank you

Hi and Welcome to 'ASK A Doctor' service.
I have read your question and here is my advice.

I think you should get it checked here. Mostly it is not serious, but getting it checked is pretty fine you don't need to wait till you are back because it's not mostly a big deal probably you would need an ECG and mostly an echocardiography. Once they check you and are sure that nothing immediate is necessary then you can always wait. But discussing it and seeing a doctor earlier is necessary here.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
