I have small, red bumps on my hands and arms. It started on my hands but has spread throughout the week. They itch slightly, and the ones on my hands are a little sore. I pressed down on one and a small amount of clear liquid came out of it moments later. What is this condition?
I can understand your concern for red bumps on hands and arms. After understanding your question it shows that you have developed insect bite hypersensitivity.
This basically due to the insect bite and red lesions are due to acute aggravation of the problem and flare up of the lesions. For pain and irritation then you can take a Ibuprofen.
Do not scratch or rub the skin as it can lead to further aggravation.
In my patients I suggest them to apply steroid such as hydrocortisone for the early resolution of the lesions. I also suggest to take oral anti histamine like cetrizine under medical advice.
Despite above measures if the problem is not getting better then it is better to consult a dermatologist for best guidance.
All the best.
