What Could Red Spot On Upper Eyelid Be?

I have had a red spot in the middle of my upper eyelid for a couple of weeks. Now, in addition, I have noticed that I have some redness and infected looking pus this morning. It looks like pink eye. My husband got some cloranfenicol in Cancun, MX. Will this medication take care of this problem?

The spot is inflammatory. Do If it is bacterial infection then after cleaning anti biotic ointment like neosporine oph ophthalmic ointment may be applied.do not use medicine like that. Get it examined by a doctor Antibiotic eye drop may be applied in eye. The condition will improve.
