What Could Rough Testicles Suggest?

Hello, I want to inquire about my right testicle. It has been somewhat hard for the last couple days. One part of it is soft, but the other feels rougher. My left testicle is fine, and I feel no pain, although a few days ago I felt as if the right testicle was bruised. It doesn't happen very often but I am familiar with this. It has gone away before but I want to know what the problem is. If I can prevent it. Thanks!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns.
When the left testicle is normal your finding the difference on the right side must be noticeable.
To know what the problem is you have to go for the following:
First of all get clinical evaluation and examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist and get further tests like- ultrasonography and color doppler, tests of the blood and urine to be done so that a proper diagnosis can be done.
The treatment will be as per the diagnosis.
Till then take plenty of oral fluids, have some scrotal support and observe the factors which cause or increase the problems.

General Surgeon Dr. T Chandrakant's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of varigated appearance of the testis without pain, and it is this condition which needs to be investigated to rule out inflammation/infection or cancer.
I would advise you the following:
Color doppler and ultrasonography of the scrotum and abdomen for genitourinary system
Tests of blood and urine.
Tests for tumor markers like alfa-fetoprotein- HCG and all.
Clinical evaluation, examination by a Urologist or General Surgeon to correlated the findings and to go for medical line of treatment if infection is the cause or surgery if tumor is the cause.
