What Could Severe Cramping In Legs After Recovering From Typhoid Indicate?

dear doctor my little daughter 3 years old had typhoide now he recovered from fever but their is sewere cramps in his left leg(in the area where leg joints with upper body),she cant even stand...what should i do...is this because of weekness or something else?

Hi dear,I understand your concern.We should differentiate hypocalcemia, benign myositis.I suggest:
- Blood test.
-Calcium test.
-Rheumatoid factor
-Aspartat Amino Transferase,
Lactate Dehydrogenase,
Alanine Amino Transferase,
Creative Kinase,altogether it can be sign of miozitis.Consult neurologist.
I advise, please keep your baby hydrated with ORS,plenty of water.If she feels pain,then give Ibuprofen.
