What Could Sharp Pain In Stomach, Greenish Yellow Fluid Vomiting And Loss Of Appetite Mean?
My 13 yr old daughter has had sharp all-over stomach pains since last night (going on 24 hrs). She has vomited greenish yellow fluid, I assume bile, three times today. Not huge amounts. Has not been able, or willing to try, to eat. Its late Saturday so I wouldn t be able to see her doctor until Monday. Possible causes? ER visit needed?
Hi. Thank for your query. Noted the history about your 13 year old daughter having sharp all over stomach pains since last night, vomited greenish yellow fluid, unable to eat, would not be able to see her Doctor until Monday, wants to know the possible causes and whether to go to ER... With the history of 24 hours of suffering, it would be better to go to ER to have clinical evaluation, examination by a Doctor and get investigated such as ultrasonography of abdomen, X-ray of the abdomen in standing position. This will get a probable diagnosis an a plan for further management .
