What Could Sore Eyes With Haziness And Halos Around Objects Indicate?

hi, my eyes have been sore lately, especially my right eye. however over this weekend my left eye has developed a kind of haziness around lights and today i have noticed that i am able to see rainbow halos around direct light sources and as i pass them, i just see blurry halos. i am very worried. can anyone help?

The problem could be mucoid conjunctival discharge, corneal edema or lens edema( or lamellar separation)

All these conditions act like prism splitting white light into primary colors.

Mucoid discharge : problem resolves with cleaning of discharge , which can be checked by self. Get treatment for cause.

Corneal edema : more likely especially as you mentioned sore eye, will also be associated with pain photophobia reddness .

Lens edema : will have haziness, colored halos but usually not associated with sore eye or pain.

Kindly consult ophthalmologist and get treated accordingly.
