What Could Sore Lumps Behind The Ear And Jaw Suggest?
hallo I have noticed a lump developing between my ear my jaw .. The area is very sore but is not painful if left untouched. I also have constant popping in my ears. I have not in anyway injured myself, or been knocked on the head at any time over the last few weeks .. I also have a cough ..Can you maybe tell me what it likely is ..?

Sometimes impacted tooth get infected because in case of pericoronal flap there is deposition of food debris and bacteria ,which cause infection . I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order X-ray or orthopantomogram . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or in severe cases doctor may recommend impaction wisdom tooth means surgical extraction of wisdom tooth . Doctor may also rule rule out lipoma , cyst or osteoma . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist . For now maintain proper oral hygiene , do warm saline rinses and give warm compresses to affected area . Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling.
