What Could Sprained Ankle With Tingling Sensation Suggest?
Hi. I have a sprained ankle, it s not painful to walk on, but kind of stiff feeling. I have a tingling sensation when I massage the top and side of my foot. I have been wearing an ankle brace for 9 or 10 days now. Is the tingling sensation normal? It was quite swollen and bruised for about 6 days, the bruising is almost gone now, swelling too.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you sprained your ankle. You are feeling tingling sensation over top and side of your foot. This can be due to injury to any nerve passing through this area. You can take analgesic such as diclofenac for pain, wear splint, take mecobalamin for tingling sensation and regularly do mobilization exercises to prevent stiffness of joint. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
