What Could Stomach Infection With Sickness Suggest?

I am concerned about my daughter. She was sick with what we thought was a stomach bug last Monday and then felt better for 2 days only to get sick again on Thursday night. She was fine Friday and then was sick all day Saturday into Saturday night. Felt better Sunday and again throwing up tonight. No fever or sore throat associated with this.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a stomach infection. Some advice that I can give to you are:

- Drink a large number of clear fluids to remain hydrated but consume it in small sips at a time.
- Avoid solid foods of any kind until vomiting stops.
- Avoid using medications that may upset your stomachs, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroid.
- Take antacids

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
