What Could Sudden Bile Taste In Mouth With Purple Spot On Tongue Indicate?

hi my name is Bonnie … last night I woke out of my sleep to a bad bial taste in my mouth .. i really was scared as i didn't know what was happening .. later on in the day when i was in conversation with my daughter she said to me *what is that purple spot on the side of your tongue* .. now i was really scared, could that be associated with the nasty taste that woke me out of my sleep?

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, as you have mentioned that you have purple spot on tongue and bad taste in mouth, it can be due to acid reflux ,also, dont worry for that you can take Antacid tablet I.e , one tablet Pantaprazol before breakfast , one capsule vitamin B complex in a day for 5 days,
As, you are saying that you have purple spot on tongue it can be depapillation of papillae present on tongue or it can be broken veins also , dont worry for this if it increases or you feel problem with this you can consult dentist ,
