Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of difficult in swallowing solids since a week, went to the local Doctor and was give Amoxiclav for a week. Developed cold since yesterday night, stool has been fluid like since three to four days... The causes for problem swallowing solid can be due to local problems in tonsils, pharynx or esophagus. This can be well diagnosed by an ENT examination and treated accordingly. Get an Edoscopy done to get teh correct diagnosis and treatment according to the findings. The another problem of cold may be due to allergy or flu. The loose stools usually develop due to antibiotic Amoxiclav killing even the normal bacterial flora o intestines causing imbalance and hence needs probiotics, yogurt and banana to clear it. You may send the stool for tests so that the cause can be found if present to get treated.
