Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 40yr old female. within a week, my fingers have become still in the evening and when I wake up it is very painful. There is no swelling just pain. it is not the joints it is between the joints. I have shooting pain in my neck and numbness in legs/feet. I have vitilego, thyroid removed, and had a hysterectomy.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from pain in your fingers . I think this pain is due to hypothyroidism as it is more in soft tissue . As your thyroid has been removed, probably you have been taken hormone replacement therapy for it. Probably your control is not up to level , so get your thyroid function to know the status. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
