What Could Swollen Bottom Lip Be Significant Of?

I woke up with a swollen bottom lip, like twice the size it normally is.. i thought the swollen lip was because of a little pimple I had below my lip, I had messed with it before i went to bed, but now my left cheek and side of my chin feel a little numb. what could this be?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
A little pimple that you messed with might have led to cellulitis. Also a small furuncle (your pimple) can be associated with swelling of adjacent areas. Cellulitis is a serious condition as its an infection of deeper skin tissues. You need a course of oral antibiotics( amoxyclav/cefixime etc) along with antiinflammatory analgesics(diclofenac/ibuprofen). These are prescription drugs, so please meet a doctor nearby.
Take care
