What Could The Clear White Mucous After Coughing Indicate?
I am frequently coughing up this mucus thing. Its just one that comes out at a time.its clearish white and stays in a worm like form. Its squishy and is kinda hard to squish all the way. Its been happening fir a while now. I am 22 years old female and i have been smoking for 9 years. Please help!!!

First thing i would like you to do is to stop smoking!!
The white mucus is likely due to swelling in the lower airway, what is called as bronchitis, This is likely to be due to your smoking and will com down once you stop smoking. I would like you to meet your doctor for confirming this and to discuss how you can quit smoking.
