What Could The Flesh Coloured Growth In Tonsil While Suffering From Cold And Sore Throat Mean?

I have a flesh colored growth on my left tonsil and my left ear had been itching. Any connection? What could this be? I have no pain, I am not a smoker. I only noticed it because I was sick with a cold and had a sore throat. I don't know how long it's been there.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of flesh coloured growth in tonsil while suffering from cold and sore throat which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection leading formation of mucus in nose and it is due to infection of sinuses. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for nasal swab test and get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation. You should take antiallergic medication such as Levocetirizine. Take proper course of antibiotic along with mucolytic agents.
