What Could The Hard Lump On Head Denote?

I have a hard lump at the top left side of my head. It s been there for some years and I can t remember if i had ever hit my head when I was younger or even raised my head up a hi an open cabinet. The shape of it hasn t change but the older I get the more I feel the shape of it.

It is most likely to be an osteoma arising from the frontal bone, since it is a long standing one. If it is causing any cosmetic problem or pain or if there is a recent increase in size, it can be excised by drilling. It can be done even under local anesthesia after proper CT scan.
