What Could The Itchy, Painful, White, Bumps On Ear, Face And Neck Indicate?
I have itchy white bumps on my left ear. My ear is a little swollen & red. The bumps continue onto my face. My face doesn't itch, but the bumps are painful & kind of hot. The white bumps also continue down the back of my ear. I don't have them anywhere else. Help!!
Afer reading your query there are two possibilities can be made:
1. Herpes zoster: It presents as unilateral multiple bumps and blisters on one side of body. It is painful and later on causes seer pain.
2. folliculitis: It is a Simple blockage and inflammation of the oil and hair root.
After your description there is more possibility of first one. You can show it to a dermatologist. If it is herpes zoster then you require to take oral antiviral drug like acyclovir or famcyclovir according to your age and weight.
FOr time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac.
Take care.
