What Could The Persistent Black Dots After Giving Hickeys Be, And Should We Be Concerned?
I m used to giving hickeys to my boyfriend, but I noticed that there are some little black dots on the area where the hickeys were after they disappear. The most recent one is two weeks old and the black dots don t seem to go away. What are those black dots? Should we worry about them?
Hickeys commonly go away on their own within a week or two. The two persistent black spots will also go away, you are advised to apply cold compress twice or thrice daily. You can apply ointment thrombophob gel (benzyl nicotinate + heparin) on the area affected.
It will help to break down the blood clots below the skin, relieve pain and inflammation by speeding up the healing process. It looks like your Bf's skin is very sensitive. While giving hickeys, 5 seconds is enough, or you will leave permanent bruises on him. Be careful not to hurt the jugular, as it can be life threatening.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
