What Could The Recurring Bruise On Wrist Be?

I have a recurring bruise on the outside of my left wrist. It s very bright purple and shaped like a tree. I could email a photo. It lasts a couple weeks. fades and then a few weeks later I get another one. I have had them on both wrists but mostly my left.
