I have found a spongy type lump on the left side of my neck, above the collar bone and almost directly over the main artery. ..It doesn t hurt but after pushing and feeling on it, there seems to be some discomfort in my neck and maybe my ear.. I have found a similar lump on the front of my neck before but it seems to have came and gone. What could this be? I am 44 years old with 5 children and am also going thru menopause. .please give me some advice..my doctor seems to think everything is fatty tissue..since my last child 7 yrs ago, Ive gone from 170 lbs to 240 lbs..I have other lumps that are hard and painful under my breast on my ribcage and one on the top of my leg but those are sore and uncomfortabIe if I lean on them or rub across them to hard..my doc also says those are fatty tissue...everything cant be fatty tissue!!! This on on my neck is different feeling completely..
Hi Mam, I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the lipoma on the left cervical region. But to rule out other disease you may go for 1. USG cervical region. 2. FNAC of that swelling.
