What Could Vaginal Bleed Be On Fourth Day Of D&C With Positive Pregnancy Test Result?
I had a D and C on friday (16th of Aug) and the blood stopped on the second day but now four days after,i can see the bleeding coming out as normal period and the pregnancy test still remain positive.is it possible to have my period at this early hour?
The pregnancy test takes a variable time to become negative. The average time is usually 48 hours. Period do not come so early after D and C. Bleeding with a positive test may indicate an incomplete abortion and some bits may be inside. Please get an ultrasound transvaginal done to rule out products of conception. If they are there a check curettage procedure may be needed. Hope this satisfies your query. Take care and see your doctor for evaluation and ultrasound. Thanks for using HCM.
