What Could Very Light, Little Brown And Red Spotting During Periods Be?
I started what I thought was my period two days ago. But it s to light and there is no flow. There is only blood when I wipe. The blood is brown and sometimes red but usually brown mostly. It lasted for two day to today but nothing really today besides this afternoon. Still no flow just when I went the bathroom. My question is what s going on is this a period or something else?
Hi ! Good morning,. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
You have not mentioned about your age and marital status. If you are married and are sexually active, I would advise you to go for a urine PT test and a serum HCG test followed by an ultrasound of pelvic organs if need be. If you face any other additional problem, I would advise you to see your gyanaecologist in the area.
It might not be easy to reach to an approximate diagnosis without knowing the details as the common cause might differ according to age of an individual.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
