What Could White Pimples On Legs Turned To Red Dots Indicate?

Hello, I had a question about my husband. This past Friday he noticed a bunch of little white looking pimples on his legs that felt rough-ish. Today when I checked it out it looks like a bunch of little red dots and some white ones forming on his hands. What could this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case your friend is probably having allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume.
2. Don't take any medication without consulting a doctor as it may worsen the condition.
3. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
5. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
