Hello. My son is 20 months. Lately, he has been having some yellow discharge from both of his eyes and they continue to be watery but his eyes are not pink or red. He sneezes a little but nothing major defining a cold. Should I still take him in to the doctor?
Hi More likely to be allergic conjunctivitis with thread like ropy yellow discharge. One should use olopatadine eye drops twice a day with anti histaminic syrup orally. Things will improve. Do not allow to rub the eyes.
