What Course Of Treatment Should Be Done For Foul Smelling Nasal Discharge And Headache?

I constantly have a bad smell in my nose which smells like a cold I guess. I have had this off and on. But now all the time. Been having slight headaches and nasal discharge which is clear also smells bad. I have tenderous around my eyes also. I m not stopped up and breathe freely. I took antibiotics about a couple of months ago. Smell went away but not completely. Now the smell is back even worse. Kind of feel bad in my head, but not stuffy.

Hi,

Noted your history about foul smelling nasal discharge on a recurring basis.
Tenderness around eyes, headache and nasal discharge all indicate an active sinusitis causing complications like inflammation in the surrounding tissues like brain.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, nasal endoscopy and investigations like CT scan of nose, paranasal sinuses and brain too.
This will give a proper diagnosis and gives a proper plan of management.
You need a long course of an antibiotic, nasal decongestant and anti-inflammatory medications.
If medical management fails then a surgery may be the only option.
