What Diet Should Be Followed To Gain Weight After Suffering From Typhoid Fever?
I got typhoid a 2 months ago and it took long time to cure, it took almost 40 days to get well.... but in these 60 days i became skinny...... and i not feeling to have any thing thought it got cured....... please suggest me the best solution so that i can take my meal and put up wait as well
The reason for weight loss during typhoid is due to protein degradation and loss of appetite. I suggest you can have protein rich food like milk , egg whites, chicken and if you are a vegetarian go for broccoli, pulses, soya bean. Your diet should be rich in vitamins and minerals so have fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink good amount of water to flush out toxins. You could increase your appetite by having soups with a tea spoon of butter. Please have small meals every 3 hours. You should get back to your appropriate weight soon.
