What Diet To Be Followed For Overweight Baby In Womb?

Hello doctor, I am 31 weeks pregnant and my doctor says my baby is 70% overweight at my last scan because of father genetic being healthy. And because of overweight my baby is still in breech position wanted to know should i continue the same diet or change and eat less and do i need to go for C-section to deliver

hi you haven't mentioned the baby weight at 31 weeks gestation. but as u say your baby is 70 percent overweight u need to rule out maternal gestational diabetes. so pls get your ogtt test done .if you have done that and it is normal just cut down on the sweets and fried food in your diet and nothing else . and yes for macrosomic baby elective c section is the best to prevent any shoulder dystopia and complications at the time of delivery.all the best and take care.
