What Do I Do About Skin Indentation With A Dark Hole, Possibly From Acne?
I have a round skin indentation on my back with a dark tiny black hole in the middle. It started like a raised bump/inflamed back acne from a blackhead seated on my spinal column. I was prescribed an antibiotic and went away after that but went back again after a year and stayed there for more than a year and disappeared by itself leaving an indented mark on my back with a tiny black hole.
Skin indentation with a dark hole is not possibly because of a pimple. It is because of a cyst. You are advised to get it clinically examined by a local GP. The cyst contains liquid, pus, etc. It is important to evaluate if the cyst requires aspiration as they can cause blockage of the flow of fluids in the body depending on the location of the cyst. If it is not treated properly there is risk of recurrence due to refilling of the cysts after aspiration.
Depending on the type of cyst & location, there can be severe pain due to compression caused to the nerves, tissues, etc. Get examined and evaluated if there is need to drain, or aspirate, the cyst or surgical removal will be needed. If skin indentation will go away once the cyst is treated & if it needs repair, it will be done.
