Hi. Welcome To Healthcaremagic
Treatment is strongly recommended/moderately recommended for patients with CD4 counts from 350-500/µL and moderately recommended/optional for patients with CD4 counts above 500/µL.
What you need to do to prevent lowering immunity:Avoid exposure to people infected with tuberculosis, and infective diseases, avoid getting further STD s, like Syphilis, Hep B and C, Good diet and excise.
Regards, Dr. Jagdish
