General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

I think you suffer from IBS(Irritable bowel syndrome).

To relieve your symptoms you should follow these guidelines:
1. Avoid spicy and acidic foods.
2. Avoid alcoholic and carbonated drinks, coffee and milk.
3. Quit smoking cigarettes.
4. Take proton pump inhibitor medication such as Nexium.

To confirm the diagnosis a colonoscopy and a complete blood count are necessary.

You should also consult your gastroenterologist.

Regards.
Dr. Behar.
