What Do Brown Spots On Hands And Abdomen Indicate?
Hi, I have brown spots that appeared overnight. They are on my hands (between thumb and index finger) and some on my abdomen. They are flat, don t itch, or hurt. They are just ugly on the hands. I m 18, so I removed aging/liver spots out of the equation. Also went to the doctor and said I didn t have to worry about it. He thinks it s from having lime/lemon on the areas and then going out to the sun. It s been about 2 weeks and I want these spots to be gone!
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your history, you may have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation due to some topical application or solar lentigenes. my treatment advise would be: 1. there is no need to worry about them, as dey will fade with time. 2. if persistent after 4 wks, you may apply topical kojic acid twice a day. 3. you may take tab vitamin c 500 mg once a day. 4. do not apply any other topical scented cream, perfume over these spots. if persistent, you may consult a dermatologist nearby. wishing you good health. thank you
