Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be styes and they can occur due to recurrent infection which may occur in diabetes also. The first condition to rule out is refractive error because any reffractibe error causes strain and then a tendency to rub your eyes leading to infections and styes. Use antibiotic Moxifloxacin drops four times a day for a week and do hot fomenation five times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
