What Do Eye Aches And Sensitivity To Light Indicate?

I have a dull ache behind my right eye which almost feels like an "eye ache." I rarely have headaches. It almost feels like my eye is about to jump out of its socket. I recently changed jobs, and the lighting isn't what I'm accustomed to. I used to have a window in front of me and now it's mostly fluorescent lighting, with a table lamp.
