What Do Growing Scabs Due To Peeling Skin On Side, Armpit And Stomach Mean?

a few days ago my skin started peeling on my side, arm pit and stomach, I thought i must have just caught myself shaving/ have been bitten, but since then scabs have appeared but they keep getting larger and the skin around the edges keep peeling away.
