What Do Intermittent Diarrhea And Vomiting With High Endocrine Levels Suggest?

Yes, according to my gastroenterologist all of my edocrine levels are way up and he is sending me to an endocrinologist. He said it could be signs of tumors. I have been having diarehha and vomiting of and on for years but recently I have had it several times a month. What could this possible be? what part of the endocrine system could be effected?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
There are certain tumours of the intestine that cause watery diarrhoea. The hormones are peptides(a simplest protein)secreted by cells in the gut.Different types cause different symptoms.Blood levels detect the tumour.Further workup is necessary. You are advised to consult the endocrinologist.
Hope this answers your equerry.
Take great care of you.
