Hi, I have lesions on my pelvic area. It itches. Recently, I discovered a palpable mass on the left side of my labia majora. I have never engaged in a sexual relation with anyone ever so any STIs are ruled out. I am kinda scared of having it checked out by a doctor. What do I do?
Itching over the groin could be suggestive of a fungal infection of the affected area. You might need to regularly take some oral antifungal agents to treat the infection. I'm addition, apply some topical anti fungal agent like clotrimazole over the affected area. Wear cotton undergarments so as to reduce sweating and further infection.
Hope it helps
